Church Planting
All of our ministries are based out of the local church. In Hebrews 10, the Bible says that Christians are to meet together and encourage one another. It is hard to find doctrinally sound churches. We believe missionaries should come along side local leaders to help them build communities of faith. It is our desire to help multiply Bible-believing African churches.
Doctrinally Sound
Locally Led
Culturally Developed
The Zulu culture is filled with ancestor worship and superstition. Children are taught from an early age to appease their ancestors with animal sacrifices in order to not be cursed or excommunicated. At Crossroads Community of Christ, we partner with local pastor Dennis Nkosi. Crossroads is a multicultural church that has been in existence for over 30 years and ministers mainly in English. After many years of prayer, God opened up the opportunity to plant a daughter church in town. This is a Zulu speaking church called Sound Doctrine Fellowship. This church is growing and now has two elders. We traveled to three communities that had been severely impacted by the COVID-19 restrictions with a mobile soup kitchen. We can see God opening up possible opportunities for three more church plants in these areas!
